Sketchy Showdown

GYUS PLEASE AT LEASE READ THE CONTROLS AND HOW TO PLAY SECTIONS BEFORE PLAYING!!!

Sketchy Showdown is a simple but goofy top-down bullet hell or shoot 'em up game happening in a (really horrible) drawing software. Try to survive as long as you can! Game Creator's Highscore: 1:01

Controls:
- WASD or Arrow Keys to move around (or ZQSD if on the AZERTY keyboard)
- Click on the corresponding icon on the bottom left of the screen to select/equip/use the tool.

How to Play:
Use your tools to survive as long as possible in the horrible editing software! The cursor tool lets you select, move, and rescale entities (such as players and enemies) and shapes (such as walls or bullets). The cross tool lets you place walls (you can scale them afterwards using the select tool). The pencil just draws on the canvas, and you can use the brush to shoot bullets (towards the mouse) using left click.  Be aware and shoot sparingly though, because the bullets bounce of the edges of the canvas and walls and can damage you if you hit them yourself! The enemies and you will increase in size as the game goes on, you can use the select tool to rescale yourself smaller.

Random and Boring Information you will not need to know:
This game has been made in under 97 hours (4 days) for the GMTK Game Jam 2024. All of the assets used in this game (sprites, images, sounds, music, code) has been made by me. Only a few parts of the code has been taken from my previous game jam games, all of the other stuff has been produced by me within the four-day timeframe.

All sprites or images used in this project were made using Google Drawings (trust me, it's actually not that bad xd)
